Terrified for mom
I can not believe I'm on this site . My mom had breast cancer twenty years ago . She had one breast removed at this time . I was 15. My found a lump last week that she says is marble like and tomorrow they do 3d imaging . She will not let me go with her . She said that she also has a rash on breast and swollen lymph nodes . She tells me tonight she believes it's cancer and that dr indicated she felt it was . That she thinks her back hurts because it's spread to bones. All of this because she's on web md . I'm sure she's terrified. I saw posts on here from others and feel like people here might be a good resource for me . I can hardly breathe thinking about this again and what it means . Thank you for letting me vent .

Take a deep breath and remember that till she sees a dr don't
worry too much, My mom thought she was losing her mind cause
of reading the MD and found out she was eating too much sugar.
and not taking care of herself. So please take care of Yourself so
You can be strong. ( She passed from heart trouble)

Dear Bling, know that we are with you and understand what you and your mom are going through, as we have been there.
Keep in touch as there is great info on this site. Let us know the results of your mom's tests.
There is a lot of hope that, if she has cancer, it can be treated.
Thinking of you and your mom.

Dear Bling, welcome to a great place to gain support and feedback from other's experiences. We are sorry about your mother's possible recurrence. The important thing is that she is having the required testing done and seeking real doctor's advice. Wait till those results are in (waiting is so hard) and let's hope that whatever it is is not as bad as she thinks and treatment can be organised.
All our best
The Mods.

Dear Bling,
We are definitely in the same boat. You replied to my post, angry about my mom's cancer coming back, and I wanted to offer you my support.
The first time around, I learned that the Internet can be a wonderful, evil place. You can stub your toe and webmd will tell you that it can kill you. Please just remember that every woman is different and every treatment and result will be different. I keep reminding myself of this, it helps me to stop googling cancer!
I hope your mom receives healthy news!
Prayers for your mom!
