Fat grafting and sensation, is it real?

I am a 42 yr old female who had a preventative double mastecomy on March 12, 2014. My expander swap out on Sept 2, 2014. I have been reading quite a bit on some Plastic Surgeons who claim that after fat grafting you can regain near normal sensation in your breast to include your nipples. Do any of you know if this is accurate or just a bunch of promised lies???

bighawk - I have had fat grafting twice. While it has improved my skin on my rads side, made my implants a bit warmer to the touch, and taken a bit of chunk off of my thighs - it has not increased sensation in my chest in the slightest.
