Question regarding flap reconstruction

I am almost 3 year post double mastectomy with reconstruction using implants. What I'm wondering is if anyone has decided to have implants taken out and go through a flap reconstruction. I don't like my implants, they are hard and don't move like a natural breast and I can't find bras that fit and I get this weird bunching up of the breast when I flex my chest muscles. Has anyone changed their mind and if so what was your experience?

I don't fit what you're looking for, but I know I have read many stories of others who went from implants to DIEP reconstruction.

Hoping someone who did this will respond. In the meantime, you could use the search engine with implants and DIEP by the year and also try the NOLA in September threads.

Edited: just tried putting "DIEP after implants" and there are a number of posts that come up with some who are replacing implants with flaps. Some unrelated posts come up but you could post in the DIEP 2014 thread also and could send private messages to the ones like yourself that come up with the search.
