Massage with expander

hi ladies

just a query wondering if any of you have had issues with having lymphatic massage done after reconstruction with expanders in? Had my surgery on the 20th october. I have the expander in my right side where as my lymphadema is in the left side but i do have to lay on the right side during my visits to the lymphadema physio. How long have you waited after reconstruction before returning to your regular massage visits? Realise this is a recon question as well but thought i would ask here first

    Welcome here. I had two expanders in for about a year aprox and my LEist just was careful. I think I went aprox 6 weeks to 2 months after recon but can't remember exactly. Your girl should be able to adapt and make it comfy. Give her your concerns and fire away with any other questions to us. We have some real smarty pants here that are LE savvy.
