so when I started off I had a mass and some califocations ..dx idc ..had an Mri found another mass dx dcis ...went from lumpectomy to a masectomy with the cent.node biopsy at the time of surgery nodes looked ok got my spacer put in bam path report comes back that my nodes were effected so now I have to go back on for surgery for all of my nodes to be removed and a port to be placed in for chemo and my reconstruction will be put off as they are thinking possible rad as well I feell like everytime I start to feel positive I get knocked down I worry about work my marriage of 7 months is already failing I just want my life back ...sorry I just had to vent it's been one of those mornings

Big hugs coming your way, Lynnette.  I'm sorry you are having one of those mornings.  We get it. You will get through the Cancer shit...but you might want to get your husband on board. Would he go to a social worker or a support group with you?  Does your hospital offer anything?

Lynnette, I'm so sorry!! Everything about cancer sucks and I understand how you feel, like the blows just keep coming. This is a strain on family and relationships. I hope for you that your husband is just scared and overwhelmed too. You need to surround yourself with positive caring people right now. A family/cancer counselor might be a good idea if your husband is willing. Hang in there. I've heard so many times here that it's awful in the beginning but once everything is known and a treatment plan in place that it gets more manageable, I'm counting on it.
