Hi my name is Lori . last year I was horrified when I discovered discharge from my nipple in my right breast . I made a appointment with my OBGYN  and at that point I  had a mammogram,MRI and then a ductagram .( which was not what I was prepared for  ouch!!!!!!!! ) . At that point everything seemed clear . Dr said to come back in a year . Well last week I woke up with what I thought was a bug bite on my right breast it was itchy and hot ,I didnt think much about it , but now a week later my breast is swollen not much but you can see the difference in the size compared to the other breast and I have a red and raised rash also I have puckering  and the skin on my breast has changed and the pores on my breast are really defined . I have been reading about IBC so now Im freaking out .Help should I be worried. Lori

None of us can offer you a DX. IBC presents in many ways. If you're concerned enough to be posting here, I'd recommend you get a mammo and an US as soon as possible. IBC is not something you want to take a wait and see approach to. Please see a doctor soon!

I know waiting to find out what's going on is scary. Remember that IBC is very rare and many other things present in similar ways. And let us know how you are.

    Best,
