just Dx'd and so much happening all at once. Don't know where to start but thankful for this site. It's idc looking early stage 1, need mri to confirm nothing missed, got gene tested today, scheduled for lumpectomy in mid November or mastectomy pending mri and gene results. See/feel no lymph nodes. Of course nothing is confirmed until the beast is removed. Surgery date revolves around 3 week wait for gene results. Exhausted headache sad n optimistic anxious

MaryJC, this is a hard time for sure, maybe the hardest, really.... but you are doing all the right things...having the tests that will make you comfortable with your surgical decisions.  Take comfort that even without everything known for sure, it looks like early stage and no obvious node involvement.  Hold on to that tightly and make it your mantra when you find yourself going to a worried, anxious state.    And manage your headaches, your mood, get plenty of sleep.  You may need your PCP to prescribe some medication so don't hesitate to ask, if needed.

Big hugs.  We're here for you while you wait.

Good Morning and thank you for your great advice. I def needed some sleep, been a lot to process and didn't sleep well Monday nite anxious about my tues appt. In addition my mother has as usual made this so much worse for me. I'll post about it later but I'm soooo sick of her. Short story- narcissistic alcoholic. Has to turn every thing into her and revolve around her. She is the MOST toxic human I have ever encountered EVER. Sickening and I prolly need to distance myself from her for my health any way.

I am holding onto faith in what Ive been told so far- as you advised! I think reading other profiles fuels my fears also Bec I see where some were told one thing and turns out to be another that's worse. But so far I do feel good about my medical team. My dr and PA seem very optimistic adding this is very treatable, we're going to take care of you and other supportive measures, I appreciate how on top of everything they are!

For me I'm big on diet and exercise. Still a lil in the why me zone :( but do believe in the benefits of fasting n juicing, have resumed green juices as of Monday and fasting today. Thank you again!!!
