So I just wanted to throw this out there to get some insight.  I just read that Samantha Harris announced that she is Cancer Free after having a BMX and starting Tamoxafin.  What puzzles me is that she had a positive lymph node and was told that she does not need chemo. I thought that you always did chemo when any lymph nodes were involved.  I only had a micro met (under 2mm) and I was told I needed chemo. 

Thoughts??

Last week I saw Samantha on The Doctors. She was promoting her new book.

When she described her case, with the positive node and not needing any chemo I also questioned that. It seemed odd to me that having a BMX alone would be enough given the positive node.

This looks like an old question that's been revived. I had a micromet and did not have chemo. I think you can have up to three nodes with micromets and still not need chemo if the oncotype score is low.
