Estring feedback anyone?

I remember from a couple of years ago seeing posts from people who had used the Estring and liked the results, but I'm not feeling patient enough to go looking for them, and so far, my search has led me to the monthly "column," and while this doctor has said he will discuss Estring, he hasn't yet.  Anyway, my MO just gave the nod to a prescription for me (things are to the point where I can't stand any kind of penetration at all - even my pap smear last fall hurt).  So intimacy is pretty much nil for us these days. I tried "scream cream", but that didn't really fix the real problem.   I'm hoping there is virtually no extra risk at least while I'm still taking Tamoxifen, and I've never had any  bleeding.  I picked up the prescription this morning and haven't tried it just yet.  Very, very interested to hear from you particularly if:  you're ER positive and on Tamoxifen or an AI.
