8 weeks post-op -- "muffin top" at top of breast?

I had  a bilateral mastectomy on 8/27 with tissue expanders. They've been filled (400 ccs) and I'm going to have the exchange surgery Dec. 8. The right breast (where there was no cancer) looks great. The left, where I also had a sentinel node biopsy, looks -- for lack of a better word -- weird. It kind of has a muffin top, like a crease, between the armpit and the top of the breast. My plastic surgeon said it is normal, that the left side is healing normally but is about a month behind the right -- but I don't remember the right side ever looking like this. He said that if it is not symmetrical down the road, he can do a little lipo in that area to even it out. He used the word "clenched" when describing it but did not give me any kind of medical term for what it is.

I am curious whether anyone else has had this experience and what I should expect. Mentally and emotionally I was hoping to be done with everything by December 31 so I can put 2014 in the books and never look back.
