I had my port put in and my lymph node removed last week. How long do I need to wait to exercise?

You really should ask this of your doctor.  Putting a call into the nurse may be enough.

Your Dr should have talked to you about those issues.  Call him/her for answers.  Remember that we are each unique and have different experiences.

When my port was implanted, Surgeon told Hubby after he left the OR that I was not to do any heavy lifting for 2 weeks so he and adult Son took over all barn/horse chores for 2 weeks.  I was riding the next day and let them do heavy 'stuff'.  I had had FNBs, not SNB.  When I had my UMX again told no heavy lifting but I was back riding 2 days later and teaching that weekend.  That's just me.

We are each so unique!  It is VERY important to talk with your Dr and know yourself!   None of us entered the BC journey the same, so there are so many variables.

Bottom line is talk to your Dr(s)!
