Help! I am approximately 50 lbs overweight. (I'm 5'4, 195 lbs) Because I'm estrogen positive and I can't take tamoxifen because of stroke risk, my doctors (all of them!) are insisting that 1) I have my ovaries out and 2) I lose this weight. I don't have a problem ditching my ovaries. But the weight..ugh..I have been trying fore YEARS to lose weight. I just sit…right here…within 5 lbs of where I am now.

I'm so frustrated. Now I'm in the middle of reconstruction, I have a knee injury I'm dealing with, 5 kids at home who all require more care than is typical of kids' their age, and …where/when am I ever supposed to get time or ability to exercise? 5 years ago I was at the Y 5 days a week, taking cardio classes and doing weight training and my weight just stayed the same!

I guess I'm complaining more than anything. It all feels overwhelming.

Ugh I was 5'4 and 125 now I am up almost 50 pounds. Hormone inhibitor is causing problems I am going to get really serious about calories in/out. I retire on friday and the battle will begin.

I am feeling frustrated with the weight I have gained also! After working as a teacher all day I am too exhausted to do anything when I finally get home.
