Getting Through Cold Cap Treatment

Hi, I've just been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be having FEC-T chemotherapy.  I've decided to try the cold cap treatment and there seems to be loads of information about the treatment itself but not so much about what products you can use on your hair during the treatment (other than use gentle shampoo and try not to wash more than twice a week).  My hair is really curly and frizzy and if I'm not blow drying and straightening (which is obviously out during the cold cap treatment) then it needs loads of leave in conditioner and curl control creams to keep it even slightly under control - if there's anyone out there who's been through it and has any useful information about what you can or can't put on your hair during the treatment I'd be really grateful.
