Circle for Women With Breast Cancer... An Invitation!

I live in the Burlington, Ontario area and I would like to host a circle if you
will, a place for women coping with breast cancer, where we have a chance to
get together and talk about our journey, our feelings whatever we may be going
through. Drop me a line if you are interested in being a part of a women's
circle with breast cancer. I got the idea while I was sitting waiting for my
daily radiation treatment.I started
talking to this wonderful lady  who said “Szilvia maybe
you should host a get together, a tea party for ladies with cancer”. She could be on to something …. All wonderful ideas
start with a little spark.  Let me know if you live in the Toronto & are interested. Lets set a date and time and let's Talk about it.... It helps everyone...

Hi! I am a long way away in Australia, but I belong to just such a group here and it is a wonderful thing! We meet once a month, have a coffee which often turns into lunch and although there were just 10 members when I was first invited to join, we are now about 24. We are different ages and stages, some in treatment and some like me, who had surgery but don't require any further treatment. I help with the administration of the group now, which has evolved into having speakers who attend some of our meetings and we attend events together as a group. We are all a great support for each other and I have made wonderful friends, who all "get it".

You may also want to post your invitation in the Get Togethers forum, to reach members looking to find a face-to-face group to join!
