Breast hurts inside

I have pain in my breast. I mean the whole breast hurts. When I tell the Doctor and nurses they say "It is just like getting an x ray" But I know I hurt, I use ice to try for some relief. Does anyone else have this happen to them??

    Yes, it hurts. from lumpectomy, or from nerve damage, whatever. it CAN hurt. hope this helps.

    Dear tparkins. glad you found us and the informative and helpful sisters here. Everyone is different and some 'breeze' through radiation therapies, while others have many differing side effects. You are best to report any SEs to radiographers to add to your record. You are not alone in that others have experienced varying discomfort.
