Contralateral rib discomfort?

I'm a little more than halfway through radiation. I had a left side mast and 17 nodes removed with no recon so I'm having chest wall radiation. As I had extensive lymph node involvement on my pre-chemo PET, my radiation area is pretty big in case any suckers escaped into the surrounding nodes. I've had nothing surgically done on the right side. About halfway though, my left ribs began to hurt a bit, which I was expecting. What I wasn't expecting was that my right side ribs would mimic the left side! The discomfort is quite mild and pre-cancer, I would've considered it a mild annoyance at the most. But post-cancer my mind keeps bouncing between "oh this is normal after nine months of being poisoned, burned and oh yeah, having a body part cut off" and bone/liver/maybe even both mets. Anyone experience something similar? My mom went through radiation and didn't have any rib pain but she had radiation only to the breast (she had a lumpectomy) and her breasts are so large I would imagine they would protect anything under them!
