hi I have been diagnosed with Stage 2 Grade 3 IDC. I had surgery and sentinal node biopsy 3 weeks ago. My Pathology states 2.9 mm tumour removed. 2.6 was IDC and 3mm was DCIS. I am eostrogen/prog positive and her2 neg. margins well clear and 0/3 nodes and no LVI. I am meet my Onc on Mon to discuss my treatment and I'm scared to death of chemotherapy.

Hello Devine16, can't tell you not to be scared cause I haven't had chemo yet but if it helps I'm scared too. I have similar dx as you. I'm supposed to have rads first then chemo. Just cancelled my RO appt cause I gotta talk to my folks at work first. I have been told by my BS that I'm ok for the partial breast rads which would only be a week of twice daily txs. My appt for the MO isn't until the 13th and I have no clue about the chemo. Lot of ladies here will be able to give you some really good advice.

Just wanted to let you know your not alone and I'm sure the wonderful women here will be along shortly to help. It's ok to be scared, this is some pretty scary stuff. I know how hard the waiting is. Will be sending good thoughts your way.  Debbie

Devine16, Welcome to BCO. I was scared silly one year ago too. You will get through this....just take it one step at a time. There are so many wonderful women on these boards that will help you though. You are not alone. Sending good thoughts and best wishes to you!!
