Tender nodes

I've had tender nodes in my right side.  Groin and underarm.  Underarm seems swollen.

I have had multiple surgeries and a recent infection around an implant, so I'm hoping that is what it is from.  Currently the implant I have seems to have a valve problem and is leaking saline, so that is being replaced on the 18th.  It's on the opposite side.  We were using a mentor saline expandable over time as a tissue expander in the hopes it could just stay as my implant after the infection, but no such luck.

All I've been through is such a long story, that I'm too tired to write it all out, but are recurrences usually sore nodes?  I had bilateral and the works for treatment.  Take femara.  It's on the side where the tiny cancer was with no nodes involved, not the worse side.

Going to doc tomorrow.  Any hopeful help?  Thanks.

I am sorry you are going through this. I cant help in any way but know that others will be along soon who may have experienced something similar.  Good luck at your doctors.

Thanks for replying, Bevin.  😊  Of course now that I have the appointment, things seem to be improving, but I am going to keep the appointment to be sure.

Keep us posted. Infection and inflammation can both cause swollen nodes. HUGS!

Thanks, guys!  I was examined today and my breast surgeon does not think I have anything to worry about.  They said to go ahead and have my plant replacement and revision surgery next week.  I sure hope I heal super fast from this one!
