I don't feel same old myself! No physical stamina.

Get body pain if i bike even 2 miles, or walk more than 2 miles.

Working part-time. And mother of two young kids. So, office work is easier than staying home.

I m getting messages every 10 days or so. But it is just me and my achy body!!

How do you feel? What are your experiences?

FightBC.

    Hi,

I'm about 5 months out from radiation, and I think I'm just now beginning to get my "normal" stamina back in terms of making it through the day and not feeling tired in the evenings (at least not more than is normal). In terms of my athletic performance - I'm not back to where I was prior to surgery, though I feel like I'm getting there. I did continue to work out between surgery and rads and somewhat throughout rads (stationary bike), but it did take a toll. I also have two elementary school aged kids, work full time, which is exhausting in itself. I don't know if you're also on tamoxifen or an AI, but those can also affect your joints, which has the effect of making me feel tired. You're still not far out from rads so give it some time - it will likely begin  to improve in the next several months.

I will be a year out from rads on October 4 and I'm still sore and achy most days and get tired very easy!

I started rads a week after last of 12 weekly adjuvant Taxol - felt better every day.  Unfortunately, I burned very bad AFTER rads - 4 months to finally get the last scab off.

For me the more  exercise I got/get the better I felt.

We are each unique and how our body handles what challenges it is different than some one else's did
