Oh my! Kath was such a blessing to me on this forum. She helped me so much when I was dealing with my son's severe depression. Prayers of thanks for having met her. Prayers for her family, may the Lord be a source of great comfort at this time.

Jean, glad to know your hip replacement is done and you can move on to recovery. It's a big recovery! I will include you in my prayers. I hope every day is better than the one before.

Oh my! I haven't logged in for a bit. Been busy with Little E (PSR, scouts, indoor soccer, etc) and trying to just get through one medical issue after another. Today I decided to pop in and catch up, and the first thing I saw was a message about our sweet sister Kath. I am in a state of shock. The last I had read, her tumor markers were coming down, and I believed that she was kicking cancer to the curb! What happened? I feel so heartbroken. Toby talked me through so many hard times and was such a cheerleader for all of us. I am so sad that she is gone. I pray that she is at peace and watching over her husband and her boys that she loved so much. I feel guilty for not keeping up with everybody. I have had so much going on and I feel like all I do is whine about my health. I am going to make a better effort to stay in touch. Each of you are so special to me!

Jean, I am so glad to hear that you are recovering well! You really are an amazing example for the rest of us, showing us how to get through this with faith and grace!
