Requesting prayer

I would greatly appreciate prayers for a gnawing, dull ache and very uncomfortable upper stomach discomfort in the morning. I eat yogurt, then take tramadol and it doesn't return until the next morning; perhaps some minor discomfort during the day some days. I went through a series of medication changes for migraine prevention and related depression 2 months ago and it started then. An H. Pylori test has come back negative and routine labs are normal. 

I've been on Prilosec twice daily per my doctor for almost a month. At my annual physical the other day, even though I developed gastritis and the *exact* same symptoms with this same drug several years ago, and have had gastritis in the past when taking strong medications, now (with my 2010 history of BC) he is recommending EGD and colonoscopy. When I expressed fear only over the EGD, he said we could just do the colonoscopy and add the EGD if I changed my mind. 

I've had this same feeling a few times over many years, all due to a sensitive stomach I've had all my life. Also during the time this occurred, I was undergoing extreme daily stress, very serious family issues. I pray this condition is the same gastritis and heals quickly. 

I pray for healing so I don't need the EGD if it is unnecessary. I also pray that God help my mind from always thinking the worst case scenario since my BC diagnosis, and to calm my worries and bring me peace. Please also pray for my loving husband of 25 years who suffers from serious psoriatic arthritis affecting his whole body. He is so strong and struggles to continue to work, but the toll the disease is taking worries us all. 

Overall, I pray for all those on this board and elsewhere who suffer in ways that render my illness so highly insignificant. God heal them and bring them peace and forgive me if asking for this prayer is wrong when so many others here and elsewhere are in greater need. Thank you.
