Pain that is zapping a stinging pain.

I am 1 year out from exchange surgery and 1 and a half years out from double mastectomy. Last week I started getting this stinging pain that zaps me out of nowhere right on the side of my boob/side of body. I have been running a lot lately so I am not sure if this pain is from muscles and nerves or what but I am freaked out!!  It seems to hurt the most when I reach up, use my chest muscles, etc. it almost feels like a zap of an electric shock. I go to see my breast surgeon Friday and she said it is probably nerves or musculoskeletal pain. She said better to get checked. It doesn't hurt if I press anywhere and I have no lumps. Anyone experience a year about exchange surgery and that it came out of nowhere?  I could use some help!!
