My Surgeon put me on low dose aspirin, right after my Mx, he said there was great new research for many cancers and aspirin, as well as the other known benefits. I only take it every other day.

What is "alternative" about taking low-dose aspirin?  In my part of the world, docs have been suggesting this to many people for years.

Yes, there's been much research and discussion about taking an aspirin once a day to help prevent recurrence.  Search aspirin on these discussion boards and you'll find a lot of science on it.  I've been taking one a day since 2012.
