inflammatory breast cancer

Can anyone tell me if these symptoms suggest it to be possible that I have this disease?

My right breast has swollen to cup size larger than the left, I have tiny purple bruising and it feels warm but no lumps

    Hi queencara, I am so sorry you are experiencing breast symptoms, but there isn't any way that any of us can help you with a diagnosis, we have no medical training.    

    The best thing to do is to make an appointment with your Doctor and have a consultation.

    In saying that, IBC is one of the rarest forms of Breast Cancer, so  fortunately, it is unlikely that this is what you have. There are many, many breast issues, that are in no way associated with Breast Cancer. The vast majority of breast symptoms turn out to be something other than cancer.

    Hello,

    Thank you for you're response. I am awaiting an appointment to see a specialist, I am aware that this type is very rare and to be honest I had not even heard of it until yesterday after doing some research on my symptoms. I later found out that my Grandmother was diagnosed and had a double mastectomy due to the exact cancer that I had been drawn to reading about, which would perhaps make the risks more significant. I originally noticed my breast swell around 2 months ago and had an examination 4 weeks ago. I was told "no lumps, so its probably just related to hormones", I was happy with that until I noticed these other changes, and that my right breast remained larger than my left when I decided to look into it myself. It is just so daunting that in just weeks/months this type of aggressive cancer can spread to other organs like wildfire and began to panic, so was desperate to hear of any similar situations.
