Love the pictures everyone.
Lisa, I am really sorry to hear about your liver situation due to chemo. I am doing better with shingles. Hopefully will be out there shooting some time in the near future.
-
Now I have to have surgery on my arm. It didn't heal correctly. I'm bummed.
-
Lisa, I am really sorry to hear that. Have you scheduled it yet?
-
I have to see a new surgeon, an orthopedic trauma surgeon. I will know more on Monday.
-
Lisa, I hope all goes well.
-
Thanks

Just now on our patio
-
we were just down at the harbor to take our youngest son for his 41st birthday dinner
gray and foggy evening there. I am glad to be home in my warm PJs..
-
since I broke my arm, I haven't filled my feeders. I just did and my goldfinches have returned
-
They have a way of returning. Cute little girl. How's your arm doing? I have been busy planting flowers and haven't taken too many pics for a while. Hopefully soon though..

Beautiful animals. It looks like they are in the wild. Is this part of a zoo? -
what used to be the Wild Animal Park of the San Diego Zoo
-
Very cool. How's the PT coming?
-
Love watching my granddaughter swimming in our backyard

SUCCESS, A MONARCH HAS FOUND MY MILKWEED JUST A MINUTE AGO.
-

Lisa, love the collage! Great pics. How's the arm doing? I just saw a pain specialist today and will be staring PT when I can schedule it in. I just finished getting my yard in order and now hopefully will have some time to spend on my photography which hasn't been much at all lately. We had the rainiest June on record which didn't help things. If only you all in Cali could borrow some of our rainfall.
-
I am still doing the PT and waiting until the 20th to get another xray to figure out what is next. I still have my brace. My liver doctor told me with the chemo-induced cirrhosis, at my stage, with surgery I have a 10 % chance of dying in the first 30 days...sooooo....I am doing everything possible not to have to have the rod put in. for sure..
-
Oh Lisa, what a situation. If it is okay with you for me to pray for you I certainly will. Can your liver situation be reversed or is it a permanent situation? I am sorry to hear this but will hope for the best case scenario for you.
-
Liver is permanent unfortunately...life is like that..but I am hopeful that I won't need the surgery..
-
Hoping that you won't either.
-
I actually took off this morning to just poke around Balboa Park before the tourists get there..
-
Lisa, your pics of Balboa always make me want to hop on a plane and visit this beautiful place.
