GM, great moon shot!!
Lisa, that is a very precious photo.
-
Oh Lisa, that is a wonderful photo. The look on your faces is priceless. FYI - cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basinare in full bloom.
-
Kathy, love this time of the year in DC. I also lived there 1966-1968
-
Lisa, thanks for sharing that photo. It's lovely!
-
Some pics from today.
-
Nancy, what beautiful photos! I'm glad you had a chance to take some. How are you doing?
-
Thanks Cathy. I found the flowers at their peak and that was fun as that usually never happens. I am doing really well. I am still dealing with insomnia but I have had several nights in a row where I got good sleep and that makes a world of difference. How are you doing?
-
Hi Nancy, I'm so glad you're doing well. It's good that you've been sleeping better and I pray that continues.
I'm doing medium. My disability review didn't go well so that has been frustrating. It's lovely having a kind support worker though. It's my birthday next week on the 13th. We've had some warm weather but it's about to get cold.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CATHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Nancy, thank you for the birthday greetings! What beautiful flowers, especially the purple ones!
-
Thanks Cathy. I hope you had a good birthday.
-
Thanks, Nancy. My birthday was a hard day because so many things were challenging or went wrong. I appreciate your kind thoughts though. How are you doing?
-
Cathy, I'm sorry your birthday wasn't the day you had hoped it would be. I have been doing a lot of walking and that has been a good thing. I am still struggling with insomnia. I think my surgery has something to do with this. I am trying to get some home repairs done and then I will be down at my Mom's house that my sister and I now own for most of the month of May to get the house ready to sell. It is going to be a big job but the market is good now for sellers so I hope we can get some fast work done.
-
Nancy, thanks for your sympathy. I'm feeling better this week.
Well done on doing walking but I'm sorry you're still suffering from insomnia. I hope your home repairs go well and that getting your mother's house ready to sell goes efficiently. It could be an emotional experience. How are you doing in working through your grief? May God bring you peace and healing and meet all your needs.
-
Insominia is the worst! The doc told me that if I lie awake more than 45 minutes in bed to get up and do something. She says the longer you lie in bed you are telling your body it is ok to be awake in bed. My main issue is I go to bed and fall right to sleep but I will wake up about midnight and can't go back to sleep.
-
GmaFoley, I hope you start sleeping better. It sounds frustrating for you.

Smelling the wild irises and Watching our wren that is back nesting this year.

Lovely!
-
Aussie-Cat - I have my moments of insomnia, but have been doing ok.
-
GmaFoley, I'm so glad you've been doing okay!
-
this garden blew me away today
-
Lisa, those flowers are beautiful!
-
What a wonderful garden there Lisa! I would be sneezing my head off - actually I am because all my roses decided to do the same
-
Two years this tree rose was dying and I cut it down to the stump and took off the part that rotted. It doesn't ever seem to give up! Just beautiful again this year. I think I will take that to heart and never give up myself.
-
GmaFoley, that's so beautiful!
