Hi all. I am new to the boards. I was diagnosed in June 2012 with stage 3 IDC, spread to my lymph nodes. Had a bilateral mastectomy, chemo, radiation and have been taking tamoxifen for a year and a half. I have a feeling I might be accidentally pregnant and am freaking out! I know you shouldn't get pregnant on tamoxifen and we are super careful because of that but accidents happen. I will not take it anymore untill I have a definite answer, but does anyone know the actual risks (%'s) to a fetus. Has this happened to anyone who ended up having a healthy baby? Really nervous right now. To top it off I have been feeling a little weird lately and was scared the BC came back. I was meaning to talk to my oncologist about it on the 27th, my next schedule appointment. Thanks for all your help!

Hi Gporka and welcome to Breastcancer.org,

This question from the August 2007 Breastcancer.org Ask-the-Expert Conference on Managing Ongoing Medications addresses the same issue, and you may find the experts' answers helpful.

    We hope this helps!
