Skin Rash/Rads/Sun - Recall (skin memory previous burns)

Anyone experience during or after rads?  Between breasts? On chest cavity? Breast treated?  Lymph node area? 

Post rads, sun exposure and experiencing sun poisoning on arms needing thick layers of cortisone.  Comes on with small to large blisters but only from shoulder to elbow, both arms.  Only in the sun for 5 minutes of direct sun, just walking (I don't live in a heavy sun state).

Diagnosed originally by onc rad dept head doc when six others who are skin specialists could not identify during second week of rads.

Hoping there are others out there who can relate and I'm not a single case of this reaction in this membership of survivors.  Six months post rads.

finished the last of 37 rads in February.  About 3 weeks ago a rash showed up on mastectomy scar on the side of original cancer.  Doc decided that it might be viral so put me on Valtrex...didn't work so had a punch biopsy done.  Results at least show that it is not cancer. Surgeon is calling it Radiation Recall. Since the biopsy it has gotten worse and now itches.  I see oncology on Wed. And he needs to give me something to clear it up because I am on vacation starting this weekend and the last thing I want is a itchy rash while on the beach.
