Testosterone/androgens and breast cancer - looking for info

Options

The study below is on testosterone and post menopausal women, and I am premenopausal, but...I have found myself wondering a lot about testosterone/androgens and what possible role they could play in breast cancer.  There is so much info out there about a poor diet and lack of exercise being contributing factors to breast cancer, but that doesn't explain why slender women with a good diet who are exercising get breast cancer.  There has to be something else going on. Although I am in a normal weight range for my height,  I (unfortunately) fall into the category of someone whose diet, although it was not horrible, was definitely not that great either.  I also have never been one to exercise much at all, just what I get from doing chores/errands, so I didn't do myself any favors with those two risk factors.  I've had Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and have had excess androgens causing thinning hair on my head and excess hair in unwanted places and I have had blood sugar issues.  I don't have Type 2 Diabetes, but have been inching my way towards it for years (it runs in my family - grandmother, mom, sister).  I've already started working on improving my diet to eat better and lose some weight and will be adding exercise soon as I heal more from surgery, but I have this worry that what if nothing I do matters because of my other issues?  I wish I knew more about other risk factors and what else I can do.

In any case, wanted to share the article below.
