Has anyone tried bee propolis?

I've been reading some interesting things about bee propolis and tumours. Is anyone taking this? I'm currently on round 8/12 of taxol, and wondering if this is something that would enhance taxol.

I've used it for cuts, scrapes, cold sores and on my horribly painful neuropathic feet. I also used a tincture for gargling for a sore throat and for mouth sores from chemo. I don't know if I'd ingest it though. Honestly, it never occurred to me, but because of the pine resin, I'd be leary. I would also wait until chemo is over. You never know what kind of reaction you're going to get with supplements and chemo. Just my opinion though.....maybe there are some who ingest and will weigh in.

I've been taking it after surgery. It's known for surpress tumor but I read a random article that it promotes tumor growth. I asked my integrative doc who said he's never heard of it. But he told me less is more don't over do it on the supplements . So I am not going to take it after finishing this bottle

I took it last year during flu season to ward off the flu - did not get the flu. I had the flu the year before and took it a few days in, it made me feel better sooner. Jury is out I guess.

I use a propolis toothpaste from Korea but didn't know it could affect tumors, will have to research that.

light:  I got a freebie from beehive some time ago & have never opened it.  it's in the fridge at the studio to this day.  I looked at the article, but I hope someone with more patiance than I have could iterpret it's effect on estrogen
