If PS didn't overfill when at desired size was implant size same
I have been seeing that some PS don't overfill by 50 once you are at the size you are and some do. What has your experience been with TE size vs implant size in those cases where he doesn't overfill. Mine does not. I am about 25 cc more than I would have gone had I not been on this site since he told me to fill to where I like then stop. I listened to all of you though so overfilled by 50 but was so uncomfortable and so afraid of being too big that I went in to have some removed.
Wondering how size relation was for those who did not overfill was from TE to expander. Thanks!

My TE were filled beyond their max capacity of 550 - right to 650, left to 575 - the size discrepancy is a long story but they were symmetrical. My PS brought a range of sizes in to the OR and I ended up with a 650 on the right and a 600 on the left and was symmetrical. So same size implant as fill on the right, and 25cc larger implant than filled to on the left. I did look smaller with implants than I did with TE - I did not wear structured bras with the TE so I don't really know what size I was - I would say an inch less projection after exchange, but I measure a 34DD in an underwire with the implants, but visually look like a C cup.

My PS did not overfill. I had 275cc moderate profile TE's, filled to 300ccs - At the exchange, I ended up with 350cc moderate profile plus. I waited about 6 weeks from final fill to exchange and felt that helped with the tightness and end result. My fills were anywhere from 50ccs to 30ccs...they were only able to fill me to 30ccs at the time of my BMX. I feel and look about the same with my 350cc implants as I did with my 300cc TEs. I am 5'4", 118 lbs, 29.5 inch bust, and was measured at Nordstrom as a 32D before BMX as well as after exchange. I had 200g breast tissue taken out at BMX. I know how frustrating it is to have to make these decisions, especially given the fact that every doc does something different! Hope that helps!

Piano girl, what size were you before? Is yoru rib cage 29.5 or chest size? I think rib cage means same size as bra size you were measured for. Wondering as we are close to the same size and your TE is about 100 less than me. I had 317 and like 471 or something like that removed from each side and i was a 34b but maybe those numbers are off! I need to confirm but just comparing to you. I am going to nordstroms in a few days. Eager to hear what I am now. Do you have projection with yours? I guess when the swelling goes down you may be smaller?I hate that part. sucks! lol

I was measured a 32D by Nordstrom before BMX as well as after. My ribcage size is 29.5 measured underneath my foobs. I actually am experiencing this fluffing I keep reading about this week. I am definitely looking bigger. I never felt I had any swelling that changed the way I looked after implant surgery. Though they are definitely rounder all the way around, I do get projection and have been able to fit nicely into just about every bra I tried. After reading about all the projection issues, I was worried I would be trying on bras and have them be baggy at the ends - that didn't happen. I got several Natori bras as my PS wants me in underwire 24/7 for 3 months.

Piana-girl, we are exactly the same size and I have the same TE's. I am filled to 325cc's and my PS is thinking around 370cc implants. I am glad to hear you like yours since we have the same MO.(did I use that right?) Anyway, I am going to trust him and go with what he feels is right since he talks in cc's and I have no idea what that equates too but I know better than to talk cup sizes with him. ( if these forums teach you anything it is that..and to fill slowly to avoid pain) But the fact that you have a similar case does make me feel better. :-)

pianagirl and mischief how tall and weight are you ? Also did she only measure your rib she at Nordstroms or across the chest too as she only did my rib cage which I thought was weird! Thanks!

I am 5'4", 118 lbs. I measured my ribcage myself so that measurement may be suspect : ) However, the fitter that helped me at Nordstrom was a trained mastectomy fitter and she put me in a 32 band. I don't remember exactly what she measured on me. I liked that my PS brought in a number of implants and used sizers to determine the best one for me. She was concerned about rippling and so she wanted to have several options. Rippling can be a problem on smaller women and so far, I have none. I felt just like you guys -- this decision seems so important and we finally have some control so we want to get it right! I also had a gut feeling that I should allow some time between my last fill and the exchange to allow the pecs to settle down and relax so I chose to wait about 6 weeks. My fills were small and slow (25-50cc at most). I started with only 30ccs at BMX as that is all they could put in. I did not have radiation. I will try to get some pics up on picture forum soon...

I am 5'4" and 116lbs. and a rib cage of 29. My TEs were filled to 200cc's at BMX and filled slowly with 25cc's at al time. My last fill was the second week of July and my exchange is set for Sept 10th. about 8 weeks from final fill. No radiation here either..
