can a recurrence occur soon after initial treatment

1. I hope this is just my anxiety. I finished radiation on July 2. Other than fatigue and lower back pain I think from the femara I'm doing OK. But I found a small lump in my other breast . should I be worried ? Could a new primary cancer be in that breast or a recurrence?. I just finished all active treatment 4 weeks ago. I see bs tomorrow. So worried.

Jen - it's possible unfortunately but it's also possible you are like most of us with BC- every ache and pain is scary. Hope things go well for you tomorrow. Keep us posted and keep the faith.

saw my BC today. Just to be on safe. Side sending me for us this Friday.

radiologist did not see anything. Said might be rib pain or muscle . ultrasound did not show anything. ..  Will try not to be so anxious
