Coffee enemas
Is anyone doing coffee enemas , or have tried these? Just curious as I have read a lot of information on this topic . TIA

No, and I wouldn't. The whole scientific-sounding explanation given for why these are a good idea simply isn't true. You can't somehow "trick" your liver into spring cleaning by pumping coffee up your rear. There are also some significant risks associated with the approach.

there's a website sells the whole package of this regime. But I don't remember it. Hopefully someone will post it here. Make sure the coffee is organic.
I've heard a lot of good things about it but I don't dare to try it....bc of the associates ricks

I'm not sure if this is the site juneping means, but it's the one that lists vendors endorsed by the Gerson Institute.

Yeah, I'm reading about coffee enemas too, and ... um... I have had coffee that taste like crap. Does that count?
Seriously, I'm wondering if it works, too, though. And how do you do it? Can I use Folgers or does Starbucks have their own brand of enema?

star lover,
. Just make sure it's fair trade and organic.

def no Folgers....

I do know ones who have done it and are doing it. They all say they feel so good afterwards. One girl went to the gerson institute, she said its unblievable how bad it smells at first, because of all the toxins. It must be doing something. I would be doing it if I physically could. I know someone who actually is addicted to it. Which isn't good. Its definitely not a long term thing. I think if people on chemo did, they probably wouldnt get as sick. That's what causes nausea, liver is overloaded. When your killing cancer cells, go through liver to leave body. Got to support the liver.

Not a good story....I am not a fan of ORAC, he seems so arrogant but this is why I don't have much faith in coffee enemas. There is another story of a woman named Doris Sokosh that used them successfully for bc w/ mets http://cancercompassalternateroute.com/testimonials-2/breast-cancer-stage-4-healed-with-natural-therapies-doris-sokosh/
She's the only one that I have found though, a bc story of course. Others with various cancers say that they used them successfully but not enough evidence for me.
You can try colonics at a reputable health clinic and that would be a lot easier and less dangerous I believe. More costly I'm sure though.

Hello
I wanted to weigh in on coffee enemas even though I am an Ovarian Cancer patient. I was diagnosed in April 2007 with stage IV ovarian cancer with extensive spread to abdominal cavity and iliac, aortic and sub-clavicular lymph nodes. I am also BRCA 1 positive. My cancer is PR and ER positive. Additionally, I had a double masectomy in October 2009 because of my 97% chance of getting breast cancer. I have done five rounds of different chemos and had four extensive abdominal surgeries. I wasn't expected to live at the time of diagnosis. I have always used some form of alternative medicine to compliment my chemo regimens and I have managed to survive against all odds. In December 2013, I again had a reoccurrence. I decided to take my treatment into my own hands, as many of you have also done. I actually found a doctor willing to prescribe me hormones and I have been taking estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and dhea since January 2014. I have also been doing coffee enemas daily since January 2014. My tumor markers have gone from 1837 down to 116 and I feel wonderful, better than I have in over seven years. I have lost 25 pounds, my stomach is no longer bloated and I have normal colon function for the first time in my life. I was told by my oncologist that hormones would set my cancer on fire and kill me in short order and that coffee enemas were dangerous. Well so far, that is not the case and I'm staying the course. I don't know exactly how coffee enemas work, but I'm a believer in the positive detoxing effects and will continue. Good luck to you in your treatment and I wish you success. JoEllen
