I met with the plastic surgeon yesterday and we have a date for the bilateral mastectomy with immediate implants. Surgery will be August 27th!
It feels wrong to say I am excited, but in a way, I am. I am glad to get moving toward recovery from surgery, any possible treatments and eventual survivorship!
My MRI results also came back with no additional findings and the tumor is only 1.4, just a bit smaller than 1.5, but I will take that!

I too am trying to stay in the excited mode. I don't get immediate implants like I wanted. I have to wait for all the chemo but it will all work out in the end. My surgery is next Tuesday. I will let you know how it goes.
