Anyone on Zoledex and Near Menopause Age?

I am 53 and was put on Zoledex and anastrazole after having a local recurrence on tamoxifen.  I had missed a few periods after my first surgeries and tamoxifen, but it came right back and was menstruating right up until I started chemo.  At my last MO appointment, she said its going to be hard to tell when I am in menopause and can stop the Zoledex and it wouldn't be good to stop it early and be on anastrazole.  Wow that really scared me and made me think maybe I should just have my ovaries out.

Is anyone else in this dilemma and what do your doctors say about it?
