naturopath - anyone in Atlanta - would like a receommendation

Options

I have not gotten any information from my regular Dr.'s on any healthy things to be doing besides lose weight.

When I mention taking curcumin, Vitamin D, my juicing, my lack of sweets and meat, they just look at me like they've never heard such a thing...

I don't get them - and while all the information here is helpful - its getting overwhelming.  I would like to speak with a Naturopath in Atlanta if anyone has a good recommendation.  I'm not interested in taking Tamoxifen and had low grade DCIS ER+/PR+

Thank you.

I just read a great book by a naturopathic doctor and another health specialist.  It is titled "five to Thrive" and focuses on cancer prevention and or prevention of recurrence.  One author has had breast cancer and the other ovarian.  It focuses on five pathways:  immune system, inflammation, hormones,

Insulin resistance and digestion.  Chapters also on diet, exercise, supplements and more.  Backed by research.  Best I've read on this topic so far.

    Hugs,

    Peggy

Five to Thrive was written by Lise Alschuler, an oncological naturopath in AZ.  I have consulted with her by video chats (I am in NY)-- most helpful.  She is extremely knowledgeable and also a lovely person.  Well worth the $.  She is also very responsive to emails.

Thank you - I will look that one up on my kindle. I initially read a bunch on alkaline diets and cancer diets, etc... but took a break for the last few weeks.  I have my 6 month mammo follow up the end of this week on Friday.  Now this week is gonna be hard thinking about it all again until Friday- or until I get my results.
