Surgeon unable to place port!

Hello, I went to have a port placement today and was cut in two places...the surgeon said she was unable to find a place for the port...the way my structure is didn't allow it...on my chest under the skin...so they are going to try again Monday on the other side (the side wher the tumor is) using some sort of scope to guide them...anyone else experience this and should I be concerned?  TIA

Its been a few weeks since your post !!!! How did your second placement try go ?? Hope everything is well with you

Hi!  I was referred to an Interventional Radiologist and he was able to place the port on the same side..no problem.
