Hi everyone,  I'm not at all sure in which forum to post this question; my question is biopsy-related although not about waiting for testing results!  In my "good" breast, I just noticed a huge dimple as I lift my arm.  I was recently (3 weeks ago? I can hardly remember at this point) biopsied there and was diagnosed with PASH, a benign condition.  The PASH was non-palpable and only discovered through MRI.  I'm pretty sure this dimple is really new - like not-here-a-couple-of-days ago-new.  Anyone get dimpling after biopsy (in this case, an MRI-assisted biopsy)? If so, did it resolve?  I'm leaning toward a  prophylactic mastectomy on that side anyway but I'm not 100% there yet (will meet with Plastic Surgeon this week).  Thanks in advance!

hyphencollins, sorry that nobody seems to know the answer to your question. Thought I may as well relate my experience which was different, but...

I had some dimpling occur with my cancer. At the time I had no idea that it was a sign of anything bad, I thought it was just from them shrinking with age.  So I went for a normal routine annual checkup with my family doc, and she took one look at it and asked me "did you have a biopsy there?"  I guess from that reaction a biopsy can cause dimpling??

Have you asked your doc about it yet?

I don't have dimpling from my first biopsy but did with the second. I'm still waiting to see of it will resolve. If not, maybe my surgeon can even it out when we do the lumpectomy. She didn't do the biopsy that caused it. - that was a radiologist.
