lovemytats - That is absolutely beautiful work. Amazingly real looking. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

My "Vinnie's" were done a week ago. I'm absolutely thrilled with the result and wish I would have done this the first time around instead of the nipple reconstruction. LOVE the final product and my husband keeps doing double takes too lol! Perfect ending -
Melany Whitney of The Whitney Center for Permanant Cosmetics who operates in Boca Raton, FL and NY, NY seems awesome. I have seen many of her photos. She does an initial impant and then a follow-up to see if anything needs a touch up. She charges around $2000 for the whole thing. I really want to go but am holding off to see if anything can be done for my asymmetry first. I decided to wait a year before even considering another evaluation. That year has come and gone. I struggle with being tired and run down and taking a long time to recover from things still. So, I am reticent to work on my symmetry at this point. As such, I have pushed out pigmentation. I have talked to Melany about doing it in the future and I liked her a great deal.

Maria - $2,000 - really? That is a whole lot for tattoos. Vinnie Myers charges $800 for bi-laterals. Other tattoo artists charge even less. I am sure that Melany is very good, but that really seems like a lot of money. I understand the tired and run down stuff. Looks like you are well done with your recon, almost a year - are you checking on other things like thyroid?

2ta --- Wow, her work is incredible, and I listened to her talk; very moving. I may give her a call, even though it would be a plane ride. Very impressive.
Thank you for sharing.

Paul Bessette is now doing 3D tattoos in Vinnie Myers' shop in Maryland. Just got back from having mine done! Paul did an amazing job! The match to my spared nipple is incredible! Do not hesitate to book your tattoo with Paul. You will not be disappointed! I keep flashing myself in the mirror; can't believe it is a tat and not my original nipple somehow magically reappeared. If you have been dreaming of a "Vinnie", Vinnie's entire team is amazing - do not hesitate to book your appointment with anyone in the shop!

Tried some temp tattoos, flowers, put them on covering my vertical scars. Like them alot- interesting how I looked at myself with 'no' scars and that I liked it. Packaging said theyd last 3-5 days or so and after about 10 I started having to scrub them off to prepare for my tomorrow surgery.

Is a great resourse. I just had mine done with Renee-tattoos
She is in many offices around the country, does an amazing job and is a great person to spend a few hours with!
I am so happy! -
I had lots of healing issues during tissue expanders and exchange. I had several very serious infections during these procedures so it is understandabIe that I was worried and hesitant about doing anything else. I am completely blown away by the impact of the 3D Tattoo! I am also amazingly thrilled to report that Renee was kind, gentle and supportive to me during the post tattooing recovery period easing my concerns and worries. I am healed and looking fabulous. It is a huge boost!

Shannon, I might try the vinnie myers 3d tattoo, I have had 2 failed tattoos from plastic surgeon office.

Vinny Myers did my 3D tattoos last May when he came to the San Diego area. I was thrilled then -- and continue to love my tats. I was unsure at first because I had heard that PS used vegetable dyes instead of permanent ink. I didn't want to make things look worse than they did. I can glance in the mirror when I get out of the shower and feel normal. Best wishes - these were worth every penny that was charged!
-
Meow - Most plastic surgeons and permanent makeup artists use vegetable dyes and do not do the 3D method. This group http://www.PinkInkProject.com/ can help you find 3D Tattoo artists around the country. I know of several people who have had their regular tats fixed by a 3D tattoo artist. GrammaKathy, isnt getting out of the shower wonderful ?! I had no idea how subconsciously I was unsettled with Barbie boobs until I had the tattoos. I feel wonderful!
-
ShannonR - it's unbelievable and has let me move on. I feel like I am back to being myself. I live in SoCal and couldn't imagine flying to an appointment in MD. When I heard that Vinnie and his team occasionally come to this area, I called to get on the waiting list. It's the most positive thing I have done for myself
-
Meow, most of the good artists can fix/adjust the bad ones by PS office. I do not know where you live but look at that Pink Ink site and see if anyone is close to you. As Gramma said, they travel. And yes indeed it is the best thing I have EVER done for myself!
