Free flap after direct-to-implant reconstruction failed

September 2012 I had bmx with immediate single step direct-to-implant reconstruction.  It involved taking some belly skin &a little fat I think, along with Alloderm, and implants.  Basically a tummy tuck along w/ implants. Unfortunately it failed & implants were removed.  I do not have extra skin in the chest area. 

So now I am looking at getting free flap reconstruction - taking fat from belly (below belly button they said).  They said it is definitely an option but I can't believe I forgot to ask how big they thought they could make my new breasts - hopefully at least a B!  Anyway - I have more fat above the belly button - because of my tummy tuck when I had the first reconstruction, so I'm wondering if my new body is going to look really weird:  fat below rib cage to belly button, not fat below belly button.  LOL.  

Anyone else experience direct-to-implant with tummy tuck failure then free flap later?
