does anyone else have tubular IDC How will it be treated differently? Is this better to have than other sub types? Surgery Monday. Meeting tomorrow to go over all the tests I have been doing the last 2 weeks. So Nervous! Praying they don't find it anywhere else. As it stands I have a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node surgery.

Parks, I had tubular IDC. Of course we are all different and treatment will depend on size, grade, etc. Mine was very small and I had no lymph node involvement so it was treated with lumpectomy and radiation and now I am on Letrozole. With the exception of the Letrozole, the treatment was the same as I had for a previous diagnosis of DCIS. My understanding is that tubular is usually not very aggressive and is not likely to spread beyond the breast. Good Luck!
