Did you buzz your hair after chemo?

So I've been given a few different opinions on how to manage hair growth post chemo.  It's been suggested I buzz it for various reasons - so that it grows even, stronger, faster, and even less gray! Others have said leave it alone until I'm ready to style it and go without my wig.  I'd rather not part with the hair I grew over the last two months since finishing chemo, but I'll reconsider if it'll grow faster and nicer.  Curious as to how others managed hair growth post chemo?

hi MGCF, I loved that baby-fine hair and let it grow.  A friend with a balding DH suggested Nioxin shampoo so I bought a small bottle.  Wasn't cheap but it lasted a year and I used it all up 'cuz a little dab'll do ya.  Best wishes! ♥

after I had chemo with bone cancer I just let my hair grow. It grew nice for me. Most say it comes back different then it was before however my came in just as thick as it left and same color

Just let it grow until it was long enough to need a trim to neaten it up

Badger, Surviver, and Nel - thank you for sharing your perspective.  Sounds like I stand of chance of growing a nice head of hair even if I don't part with my 1 cm of growth.  Leaning towards following your path and not buzzing it.
