Anyone have adriamycin given over 2 days?

I met with my MO yesterday. I decided on A/C then T every 3 weeks.

Interestingly she explained that when she worked at Kaiser she had more "freedom" with protocols and they would give the adriamycin as a split dose over 2 days. So, half on day 1 half on day 2. She said they saw less heart issues, chemo brain and overall side effects. 

She said it isn't done here because of lack of chair time. Welcome to Canada! I asked if the split dose has any negative effect on treating the cancer and she said it doesn't as it is overall dose of A that matters.

Anyone else getting this?

Islandmama - I have never heard of this. Actually, the time increments in which you give the overall dosage, and the timing of such increments, matter.
