I was just diagnosed with IDC in my left breast last week. An MRI of both breasts also showed enlarged lymph nodes. My surgeon is talking about chemo and radiation. I've decided on lumpectomy. Tumor isn't too big, about 1.5 centimeters. I'll also be having a hysterectomy. I have a cyst on left ovary and a uterus full of fibroids. I am amazed that all this is going on and I feel fine. The cyst, etc was discovered when I had an MRI for my hip arthritis! All went downhill from there. I've been reading a lot on this site and am grateful it is here. No questions tonight. Just a "hello."

I am so sorry you have to be here, but you'll find this is a great place to come to for support and for advice, should you need it. There are many women here who have had a similar dx as you, who will be glad to answer any questions you have. You can ask pretty much anything here, everyone understands how you feel. I can imagine your head is spinning right now trying to absorb everything.
