I am meeti g with my oncologist for the first time tomorrow.  I met withy surgeon yesterday and hey said they found a spot on my spine from the cat and bone scan. Csn't say that the spot is % 100 cancer because we haven't done an m.r.i.. I'm am FREAKING out!!!! Has anyone had a scare with a spot on the spine? Was it cancerous?  If so, how was managed!? I was planning o  getting care in Peterborough (a smaller town. 1 1/2 hours north of Toronto). If anyone out there has some experience/suggestions with my situation I would be greatly appreciated! !!

    <bump>

    Hi Ash - single posts quickly disappear from view so I'm bumping this to bring it to the top of the active list.

    Hang in there. There are several young women currently posting on the Canadian connections... Thread in this forum.

    hi ashwillbeatthis, I am sorry that you have had to join this group, but welcome and I hope you can get some of the answers you are wondering about. I found this whole site very helpful, with everything I have had to go through so far.  I  do not have much info to offer you, as I am on the west coast, but sending hugs your way, all the tests and scans we go through can be very stressful. It is hard not to worry . I look back and found that part  harder than the operation or chemo or rads.

    Sending positive thoughts your way  and we are all here for you.
