Treating my DCIS grade 3 was a very long and educational journey. I settled on surgeon #3 at hospital #3, after lumpectomy #2. After understanding the consequences of EBRT, I decided to forego it and decided to go with partial breast irradiation. But due to my age(40), my insurance and the California Medical review denied my request for brachytherapy.

Did you join BC.org just to promote your blog?

There are many many women on BC.org who have chosen a variety of different treatment options, and who talk about their treatment choices and experiences right here on this site. These women give of their time by being active participants on this board, offering support and information to those who are newly diagnosed with DCIS.

Personally I would recommend that anyone newly diagnosed with DCIS read the DCIS section of breast cancer.org, get their treatment advice from their doctors and ask questions of the women here, in a open forum where there is plenty of debate and many different opinions.

Coming to this board simply to drive traffic to your blog seems a bit inappropriate.  But perhaps you are planning to stick around and offer support.  It sounds like you might have some interesting experiences to add into the mix here.
