Daughter is graduating from HS this weekend

and I am so grateful to be here!

When I was diagnosed with bc my son was in 8th grade and my daughter was in grade 4. One of my prayers was to see her through HS. Time has flown by and now it is here. She just left the house for her last day of school. She will be attending a UC down south and I will miss her terribly, but I am so proud of her!

 I can't believe that it has been almost 9 yrs since my bc journey began.  I wanted to post this as an encouragement to my newly diagnosed friends that there is hope to get our kids through their school years and beyond!

Congrats, Lexi to you for getting through to this...and to your daughter on her graduation. These milestones are what we live for. Having gotten both my children through school and beyond, I wait for the next step for them—marriage and children. But not too quickly.
