Perjeta/Hercetpin duration question

Hi, I was just told that my chemo will be 4 sessions of AC followed by weekly Taxol and every 3 weeks they will add perjeta and herceptin to the mix.  What gets me is that my oncologist wants to continue Perjeta and Herceptin for 3 years.  I've never heard of that. Is anyone else doing it for that long?

I am only getting 6 perjeta's.

I don't understand why my onc wants me on it for so long, its really scaring me. Am I really so off in what I think I have? I thought I caught this early again, just don't get any of it.

Basia it sounds to me like he is trying to get you out past the recurrence window.  I would just ask so this way you know.
