I haven't done it with a brush, but have found that using a pair of exfoliating bath gloves (dry) helps a lot for me.

I just started dry brushing last week.  It is REALLY helping my truncal LE!

How do you do it?  I read about starting with the legs and working up, and starting with the hands and working up, but how do you do the trunk area?

glennie- I am probably doing it wrong.   I need to research this week so I get the strokes right.  I do it in the morning & late afternoon.

Right now I start with my neck- each side & then the back neck.  I then move to my bad side (both for truncal & arm) I brush it from my side down under the breast through my middle torso.  I then brush from the side & over the breast.  I then brush over & down between my breast.

A few times I have added in my LE arm at the end-doign it like MLD on my arm

I am sure it is the wrong order.  But for me it is really working good.   I do want learn the right order- And hope that will help even more!

Glennie -Id like to add that when I started my dry brushing last week...After I was done dry brushing I was applying a blend of coconut oil & the essential oils Lavender & lemongrass.  I did not do tthe oils for the past 4 days & I could tell.  I added the oils back & I could tell right away.

Where are you apply the oils?  All over? Or just around the LE places?  Are you mixing the blend yourself?   ** want to know more*  this truncal LE is really a bummer!!

Yes, I am applying them where the LE swelling or pain is.   I purchased DoTerra Oils on ebay. There are other brands too. I mixed my own.  Using the coconut oil as a (I forget the term they use for that) Just so I am not applying the other oils straight on my skin.

I agree the Truncal LE is No fun at all : (
