Non-Stop Mild Nausea

I've had two chemotherapy treatments. The first one was around mid-March and the second was early April. They were about 3 weeks apart.  I am scheduled to have two more, but for a couple of reasons, my oncologist is giving my body a break.

Anyway, after the first treatment, I got sick two days after the chemo. I have some medication for it and that helped. A week or so after the chemo, I felt fine. Then I had the second treatment. I didn't get sick as quickly as I did the first time, but the nausea refuses to go away.

It's been over a month since I had the last chemo treatment. I would think that the nausea would go away already. It's not bad, but it does keep me from eating. I have to force myself to take a few bites of meals every day.

The oncologist did start me on hormone therapy, too. Could that be contributing to the nausea?  Or is it just the chemotherapy? Is it typical to remain mildly nauseous for so long?  I'm dreading the next two chemo treatments if it means I'm going to get sicker after each one and stay sicker longer!

I did tell my oncologist that I'm still nauseous and he said to keep taking the meds for that. I am.  I guess I should talk to him again, but I did want to see what others have experienced.
